The Barnwell lodge PROJECT

What started as a modest hunting cabin quickly transformed into a beautiful family retreat with two main level master suites, a spacious guest room and a bunk room for the grandkids.

Fun details such as a dumbwaiter and a laundry chute connect the upper and lower levels in a functional way. Custom barn doors, a live edge wood bar top, “pre-aged” cypress, ghost wood, a rough-hewn mantle, and exposed trusses create a rustic modern atmosphere. Retractable screens and custom railing keep the view unobstructed.
